All it requires is a valid email address for account verification purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>When creating a workplace, you are given the choice of either using a company email address or a free email address. Avoid mistaken identity!<\/li>\n<li>By following the steps in creating a workplace, the first person to use the company email address and complete the account verification will be assigned as the owner of the workplace (The ownership can be transferred to other members later on).<\/li>\n<li>The rest of the team members can auto-join the workplace using the company email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<b>Steps<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On the Join\/Create Workplace page.\n<ul>\n<li>Complete the workplace registration.<\/li>\n<li>Click the Menu button ( <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3680\" src=\"https:\/\/portal.workdo.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Icon-06-SwitchDomain.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"24\" height=\"24\" data-wp-pid=\"3680\"> ) and select Join\/Create Workplace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click Create New Workplace.<\/li>\n<li>Enter your company email address.<\/li>\n<li>Click Submit.<\/li>\n<li>Verification process\n<ul>\n<li>If you used the company email for your personal account registration, please go to step 6.<\/li>\n<li>If you used an email address that is different from your company email address, please retrieve the verification code from your company email inbox and input it on the screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Enter the company information On the workplace home screen to complete.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"secondary\">\n<h5>Free Email Address<\/h5>\n<p><b>Applicable:<\/b> For teams that use free email addresses\uff08@gmail, @yahoo&#8230;etc.\uff09<br \/>\n<b>Pro:<\/b> Everyone has to be manually invited and verified first before joinning the workplace.<br \/>\n<b>Features<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unique email address, no mistake of identity!<\/li>\n<li>By following the steps in creating a workplace,you will be assigned as the owner of the workplace (The ownership can be transferred to other members later on).<\/li>\n<li>Target invite members to join the workplace, verification process is no longer required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<b>Steps<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On the Join\/Create Workplace page.\n<ul>\n<li>Complete the workplace registration and you will be led to the workplace home screen.<\/li>\n<li>Click the Menu button ( <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3680\" src=\"https:\/\/portal.workdo.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Icon-06-SwitchDomain.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"24\" height=\"24\" data-wp-pid=\"3680\"> ) and select Join\/Create Workplace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click Create New Workplace<\/li>\n<li>Click Create with free email<\/li>\n<li>Fill out the necessary information<\/li>\n<li>Click Done<\/li>\n<li>The workplace home screen will be shown indicating the registration completion.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><img src=\"https:\/\/portal.workdo.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/ic-price-lightning-yellow-24.png\">Reminders<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>A company email domain is recognized by the company name followed by the @ sign in the email address (ex. johndoe@company.com). Most company email domains are paid services, however, there are exceptions that even Google&#8217;s @gmail.com is used as a company email domain.
